Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny will play a superhero from the Marvel Spiderman universe, who gets his powers through wrestling: he will play
El Muerto.
Sony Pictures Entertainment broke the news at CinemaCon, the annual gathering of movie theater owners in Las Vegas, saying the reggaeton artist whose name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio will play a masked superhero.

," said Bad Bunny, who occasionally steps into the WWE wrestling ring.

The film will hit theaters on January 12, 2024.

According to Marvel's description,
El Muerto –
who in the comics is called Juan Carlos Estrada – is a hero who wears a wrestling mask who has powers passed down from generation to generation.
In one of his trips, the character comes to fight with Spiderman.

According to Variety magazine, Sony producers hinted at CinemaCon that Bad Bunny, 28, the world's most listened-to artist on Spotify, will play the antihero about to inherit his father's power.

, an action thriller set for release in July, starring Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock.
