New climbing hall in Dachau is ready

On the upcoming opening weekend of the Dachau Friends of Nature climbing hall, visitors can expect music from the band Margret's Basement (Saturday) and a drum show with Pica-Pau (Sunday).

Planning has been going on since 2016, construction since 2020, and the new Dachau climbing hall will open its doors next weekend.
With the new hall, Dachau is getting a real Eldorado for sport climbers and boulderers.
The climbing hall at Wettersteinring 14 offers over 150 climbing routes with a height of almost 17 meters on an area of 2,300 square meters.
Climbing is done both indoors and outdoors.
The bouldering areas are spread over three floors with different levels of difficulty and individual wall character - from flat to overhanging.
But not only climbing enthusiasts get their money's worth, on the contrary... Anyone who would like to get to know the Naturfreunde climbing hall has the opportunity to do so at the weekend: the opening ceremony with activities and attractions for young and old takes place on Saturday, April 30th and Sunday, April 1st. May from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Pre-opening on Friday, April 29, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Managing Director Kerstin Bernhardt promises: "We offer a holistic concept, a wide range of offers, experiences and opportunities beyond climbing - and everything in a personal and family atmosphere." Visitors can expect a wide range of courses - from climbing tasters to back fitness and prevention courses for children – Lectures on health, nutrition, the environment and nature, a wide range of activities for families and children, and ideal conditions for employee and business events.
"And if you're just looking for tasty and healthy snacks and a bit of socializing, our bistro is the place for you," emphasized Bernhardt.
For children from the age of six there is also the opportunity to experience a birthday party full of games, fun and excitement.

There are also promotions on the climbing wall and in the bouldering areas, a scavenger hunt through the climbing hall followed by a raffle and prizes, a colorful children's program as well as stands and promotions from sponsors and partners such as NaturFreunde Bayern, VR Bank Dachau, BKK ProVita, Optik Tannek, Fußfallen, the Andechser Molkerei and the agency Weimer & Paulus.
A food truck in front of the climbing hall will take care of your physical well-being.
