The terrorist organization issued a statement praising the killers who shot at a security guard in his 20s in Samaria • "The incident will break the illusion of the occupier that his crimes in the al-Aqsa Mosque will go unpunished," it said.

Tonight (in light of Saturday), the terrorist organization Hamas praised the terrorist act in which a 20-year-old security guard was killed at the entrance to the city of Ariel in Samaria and called the act an "act of heroism."

A statement from the Gaza-based terrorist organization said: "We commend the operation and see it as an act of heroism. This heroic operation, along with other ongoing resistance operations, breaks the illusion of the occupation forces "Our people, along with the invaders of the al-Aqsa Mosque, will arrive without punishment or response."

"The resistance will continue as long as the occupation remains on our lands. The heroes of the heroic resistance, along with their pure weapons, will remain like a wall in a way that protects the country and the Al Aqsa Mosque from the occupation crimes and its settlers until the day of liberation," the terrorist organization said in a statement.

The IDF said that a preliminary investigation of the attack in Ariel revealed that two terrorists arrived by car at the guard post at the western entrance to the city, shot dead a security guard at the scene and fled.

It was also reported that the fighters of the commando brigade, a paratroop patrol, the 636th Battalion and a poisoning unit began searches.

Increased forces of the IDF together with the GSS and police combined with an intelligence effort, in pursuit of the terrorists.
