FC St. Pauli is continuing its weak second half of the season in the 2nd Bundesliga and has been in the final sprint for promotion for five games without a win.

Hamburg drew 1-1 (0-0) in the home game from pursuers 1. FC Nürnberg on Friday evening and are in fourth place two games before the end of the season, three points behind second-placed Werder Bremen.

Hamburg - Daniel-Kofi Kyereh scored the lead for Hamburg from the penalty spot in front of 29,546 spectators in the sold-out Millerntor Stadium.

Substitute Taylan Duman (90+2) equalized in added time.

Nuremberg got off to a better start and had the first chance to score.

But after just a few minutes, the hosts had adapted to the Franconians' unusual 3-5-2 formation and set the tone.

However, they did not get any chances to score at first.

Finn Ole Becker, who hit the post (57th minute), had the greatest chance.

Then Kyereh took the penalty opportunity after a foul on Igor Matanovic and scored his twelfth goal of the season.

Despite the lack of goals, the 29,546 spectators in the sold-out Millerntor Stadium created a great atmosphere.

Both teams lacked precision on offense.

So many successful and worth seeing moves remained unfinished near the goal.
