The people of the occupied Golan celebrated the Martyrs’ Day today in the Beqaatha and Majdal Shams squares, where they laid wreaths at the memorial of the martyrs, read Al-Fatihah for their pure souls, and raised national flags and banners glorifying the martyrs, emphasizing loyalty to their pure blood and their approach to confronting and resisting occupation in all its forms.
In his speech during the celebration of Sultan Pasha al-Atrash Square in the center of the town of Majdal Shams, the liberated prisoner Assem al-Wali stressed the importance of the sacrifices of the martyrs that made the history of Syria, indicating that the occupied Golan was at the forefront of sacrifices for the sake of the soil of the homeland against the Ottoman occupation, passing through the French and reaching the Zionist, where the convoys of martyrs did not stop. on the occupied Syrian Golan.
Al-Wali pointed out that the blood of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army made Syria's victory and drew a new map for the region by confronting the conspiracy and the terrorist war against Syria.
In turn, the Dean of the Syrian prisoners, Sidqi Al-Maqt, praised the heroism of the Syrian people during the past decades and the sacrifices made by his army during its glorious history, baptized with the blood of the heroic martyrs, who were the beacon that enlightened future generations in their struggle against occupation and aggression.
