Poems presented at a festival hosted by the Cultural Center in Kafr Sousa that conveyed feelings of pride and pride in the martyrs of Syria who gave their lives to defend the homeland and repel aggression against it.

The festival, which was held in cooperation with the Idlib branch of the Writers Union, on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, in which the poet Qahtan Bayraktar presented a poem titled The Alphabet of Glory, during which he expressed the highness of those who gave their lives and were the eternal stars for eternity.

The poet Dr. Muzahim al-Kaba' presented two poems, the first for the martyrs, titled "Twin of the Sun" and the second titled "Well of Arms and Don't Get Bored", in which his pride in the martyrs reached its full extent.

While the poet Abd al-Azim Jahjah presented a poem in which he expressed his longing for the city of Idlib and his aspiration for the day it would be cleansed of the taint of traitors. The poet Muhammad Hassan al-Ali presented a poem “The Martyr,” likening this person to the prophets for their eminence.

While the poet Ghaleb Jazia presented a poem that was characterized by its enthusiastic and lyrical tone.

The poet Maryam Mahmoud Al-Ali presented her poem (Get up, my master), which was filled with an emotional dialogue with the martyr.

The poet Muhammad Abdo Al-Hadwa also recited a poem in which he spoke about the martyrs who were assassinated by the hand of terrorism, considering that these are among the most important values ​​that protect the homeland, with a sincere poetic sentiment.

The poet Muhammad Khaled al-Khidr, head of the Idlib branch of the Writers Union that ran the festival, spoke about the identification of contemporary Syrian poets with national occasions, their cultural role and their publications, indicating the importance of poetry that talks about martyrdom and martyrs because it embodies the highest values.
