Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador reiterated his country's rejection of imposing sanctions on Russia over the Ukraine crisis.
Russia Today quoted Manuel Lopez Obrador as saying: "Achieving peace between Russia and Ukraine will have a positive impact on the global economy and will help reduce global inflation," noting that the most important thing is to achieve this peace, which would help a lot after the crisis led to acceleration of the economic crisis.
Obrador also called on the United Nations to continue working to create opportunities for dialogue between the two sides.
