Police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, responded to a report of a shooting near St. Francis Hospital on Wednesday and say a suspect has been killed.

Darin Glodo of the Tulsa Police Department told CNN, "We have injuries," but could not immediately provide more details on the number of people injured.

He said the shooting took place at the Natalie Medical Building, a medical office building on the St. Francis campus.

Tulsa police are evacuating the medical building, Sgt. Richard Meulenberg told reporters at the scene, including CNN affiliate KTUL.

Police say the shooting suspect is dead, though it's unclear if his death was self-inflicted.

Meulenberg said several people were injured and it will take time to complete the evacuation.

“We have multiple floors…with hundreds of rooms and hundreds of people inside the building,” he said.
