The local government center decided today (Thursday) to go to war following the crisis in the education system and is threatening a strike.
At a meeting of the center's management, chaired by Haim Bibbs, it was decided to schedule an emergency meeting of the General Assembly to formulate the next steps, and pointed an accusing finger at the Ministry of Finance, also on the issue of public housing.
After Shavuot they will pass on their demands to the office.
The local government center has the option of disabling municipal services, which include in the field of education the assistants in kindergartens and many employees of the education system.
The authorities can also disable all municipal services of the authority's employees;
In the educational institutions these are the secretaries, assistants, fathers and security guards.
Among the issues discussed were "severe shortages in classrooms and a significant increase in classroom construction and daycare operations, which will come at the expense of the public, improving the employment conditions of teaching aides - assistants, and affordable housing - a government program to provide affordable housing for young couples."

"The Ministry of Finance is trying, in a trending manner, within the framework of the Arrangements Law, to roll the responsibility for its failures on the local authorities, and to put its hand deep into the pockets of the residents of the State of Israel," they attacked.
"The Treasury should take responsibility for the housing crisis and find real solutions, and not roll it back to the residents through property taxes."
They added that "at a meeting held today, the mayors agreed that they would not be able to move on to the agenda and went to war with all the necessary steps to the point of a general shutdown."
The measures come against the background of a protest by the teachers 'union to improve the employment conditions of the teaching staff and the sanctions of the teachers' organization.
Both organizations said the possibility of shutting down the education system is on the table.
