The Ministry of Justice has asked all Sharia court judges in the judiciary not to carry out transactions related to marriage unless they are accompanied by the medical report and the necessary analyzes issued by the pre-marital clinic and laboratory in the Medical Syndicate, in the interest of public health.
In a circular, a copy of which SANA received today, the ministry called on the Judicial Inspection Department and public defenders to monitor the proper implementation of the provisions of this circular and inform it of any violation of its content.
The ministry indicated that its generalization comes from the fact that the family is the first cell and the basic component in society, and the birth of healthy children is the essence of this universe and positively affects the structure, vitality and progress of society, as well as based on a recent book issued by the Medical Syndicate assigning marriage laboratories and clinics affiliated with its branches in the governorates exclusively to the study of suitors.
