Superior Council of the Judiciary: the first appointments of a long-awaited transparency

Late in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the Superior Council of the Judiciary has, in a way, opened the ball, by publishing the appointments of the gratin of the judiciary: the first presidents of the court of appeal and the presidents of the judicial courts.

One of them is very commented: that of Hélène Davo, legal adviser to the President of the Republic and former deputy director of cabinet of Nicole Belloubet.

Here she is now the first president of the Bastia Court of Appeal.

A small court which, of course, brings together only two courts, but with strong political stakes in the context of negotiation on the autonomy of Corsica.

In the ranks of the judiciary it kicks in the stretchers.
