At least three people were killed and others injured when a train derailed in the southern German state of Bavaria today.
The police said, according to local media, that the cause of the accident, which occurred this afternoon near the city of Garmisch, is not yet known and is still under investigation.
Three helicopters and medical teams from neighboring Austria joined the rescue operation.
