2022-06-05T20:45:56.600Z

The lighters reached the Kfar Etzion plantations at the height of the season and sowed heavy destruction in them. • The damage to the plantation owners is estimated at tens of thousands of shekels. • Yaron Rosenthal, a resident of the kibbutz:

The cherry orchards of Kibbutz Kfar Etzion were set on fire over the weekend, according to the suspicion, by Palestinians living in the villages in the area.

Residents of the kibbutz came to orchards located in the area called the Mukhtar Saddle, and discovered trees laden with cherries rising in flames, with damage estimated at tens of thousands of shekels.

This is not the first time that Palestinians have reached and harmed the kibbutz's cherry orchards, but this time the damage is heavy because it is the height of the season.

In Kfar Etzion, they filed a complaint with the IDF, which is the sovereign on the issue, so that they can act against the rioters, and intend to file a complaint with the police tomorrow (Monday).

Yaron Rosenthal, a resident of the kibbutz and principal of the Kfar Etzion field school, spoke about the heavy damage to the plantations and hoped that they would be prosecuted: " "With all your might, then you will be deported to Gaza. In the meantime, we will continue to plant, plant and harvest, and you will continue to invest all your energies in destruction and terrorism, so you will continue to be poor and fail."

The timing of the damage to the orchards comes just a day before the cherry picking event that was expected to take place tomorrow at the cherry orchard.

Rosenthal called to come to the scene despite the recent incident in order to give an answer to terrorism.

"Tomorrow we will celebrate a celebration of self-picking cherries, which will come from all over the country," he told the terrorists on Facebook.

"You will look from a distance and know that you have won the small battle again, but you lost the battle. The answer to the arson of the cherry orchards - as many visitors as possible tomorrow in the harvest."
