The English-language Arab newspaper Arab News published an extensive interview with the Minister for Regional Cooperation Issawi Farage.

This is the first interview of an Israeli minister of Saudi media who is affiliated with the royal family and is published in Saudi Arabia itself (unlike some Saudi-owned media outlets operating from London, T.M.). The timing of the interview is probably not coincidental. The countries.

Frij did not spare criticism from the Palestinian side either, saying that "I believe they made a mistake in not joining the Abrahamic Accords. Moving forward is a blessed thing, and they should have been part of that movement."

When asked about the death of Palestinian journalist Sheerin Abu-Akla, Frij said that "it was a mistake."

The interview, which was conducted in English, was also published in a video version on the Arab News website. 

As reported in Israel Today, Saudi Arabia, Israel and the United States are in advanced talks to formulate a tripartite political deal. As part of the deal, the details of which have not yet been finalized, Saudi Arabia is expected to open its airspace without restrictions to Israeli airlines. Green light for the transfer of sovereignty over the islands of Tiran and Sanfir, which control the entrance to the Gulf of Eilat, from Egypt to Saudi Arabia. 

At the same time, the United States will begin a gradual process of removing the boycott of Regent Muhammad bin Salman, whom Washington accuses of assassinating Saudi journalist Jamal Khushkji, who was a U.S. resident and used to publish critical articles against the royal family in the Washington Post.

In exchange for lifting the boycott, Saudi Arabia will increase its oil production, in order to help the US cope with rising world energy prices following the war in Ukraine.
