"There are such disturbed people": Amira Pocher is afraid to send her children to school

The killing spree at a Texas elementary school does not leave Amira Pocher cold either.
In her podcast "Die Pochers!" the mother of two and husband Oliver are now talking about what is happening in the USA.
And about her fear of sending her own children to school.
Cologne – On May 24, 19 children and two teachers were shot dead in a shooting spree at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.
The case shocked the world.
Amira Pocher (29) is anything but cold about the tragic crime, as she now reveals.

The presenter has two small children herself.
Even though her two boys are not yet of school age, she has a bad feeling about their future.
Husband Oliver Pocher also has three other children with ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden who are growing up in the USA and are already going to school there.
In their podcast "Die Pochers!" The two now talk about the killing spree and their own fears.
"I'm scared here," reveals Amira.
Although they had already looked at a school and it was very secure, nevertheless: "but you still worry."

Oliver does the same, although he is particularly concerned about the situation in the USA.
His three children would have to do exercises there "on how to behave in the event of a school shooting," says the father of five.
"It can happen anywhere, there are such disturbed people!"
Amira admits her fears.
However, it will still be a while before her two children have to go to school in Germany.
