The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia organized today 51 catering controls.
Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Lattakia, Ahmed Zaher Bin, told SANA reporter that the seizures included 12 servicemen with violation of leakage from transport lines and refusal to serve citizens with the intention of trading in diesel on the black market, and a seizure of a fuel station on the highway (Lattakia-Damascus) for violating the disposal of 7286 liters of gasoline. And the quantity of 2374 liters of diesel illegally and for other than the purpose for which it was intended.
Zaher explained that 10 arrests were also made for the violation of not having a purchase invoice against an ice cream shop, foodstuffs, mineral oils, household tools, bags, eggs, stationery, vegetables, fruits, health materials and shampoo in Lattakia, Jableh and its countryside.
Zaher added that 13 catering seizures were organized in violation of not declaring the prices of grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy, women's shoes, foodstuffs, chocolate, sandwiches, cereals, household appliances, paints and spare parts, in addition to 5 seizures of violating the trade in ration bread outside the smart card in Al-Haffah, Lattakia and Jableh countryside.
In addition, 4 records were registered with the violation of practicing the profession without a license, not having a specification card on the produced goods, selling at an extra price, and not announcing wages for services.
Zaher pointed out that 6 samples of foodstuffs were withdrawn to conduct the necessary analyzes and to indicate their compliance with the Syrian standard specifications.
