The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Daraa organized catering controls in accordance with Legislative Decree No. 8 of 2021.
The director of internal trade in the governorate, Dr. Yahya Abdullah, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the owner of Alaa Al-Musa station in the town of Khirbet Ghazala was arrested for violating the use of subsidized materials for other than the intended purpose of about 13,493 liters of gasoline, and he was fined more than 141 million Syrian pounds.
Abdullah added that the consumer protection patrols organized a seizure against the owner of the bakery in the town of Bosra Al-Harir for violating the weight of bread bundles by 150 grams. Dael for violating administrative instructions by not complying with working hours, in addition to arresting the owner of Al-Ali bakery in the town of Abtaa for violating the absence of a sign on the door of the bakery.
Abdullah explained that the arrests were made against service drivers on the Damascus-Daraa and Daraa-Izra line, with a violation of increasing passenger transport fees, based on a citizen’s complaint, in addition to three arrests against owners of commercial activities (food stores) in the towns of Garfa, Al-Dali and Mahja for violating the presentation of illegal purchase invoices. And the absence of a commercial register.
