Police launched a chase in Hebron after a Palestinian took a weapon from a police officer
Police forces began searching for a Palestinian who stole a M16 weapon from one of the police officers during a police check.
The suspect started driving while dragging the policeman until the weapon disengaged from his body, and fled to the Hebron area.

Police forces today (Wednesday) launched a pursuit of a Palestinian who stole a weapon from a policewoman.
The suspect fled the scene in the direction of Hebron and his identity is known to the police.
During the morning, modest police stopped a Palestinian vehicle at the Al-Fawwar junction in the southern Hebron hills for inspection.
During the test, when the police officers asked the driver to identify himself, the driver of the vehicle grabbed one of the police officers' weapon, an M16 rifle, and began to drive fast.
The suspect drove as he dragged the officer along with him until the weapon detached from his body.
The suspect fled the scene and according to police forces was filled in the general direction of Hebron.
Police and army forces arrived at the scene and began conducting searches for the suspect vehicle.
The identity of the suspect is known to the police.
