Legislative results: Marine Le Pen misses her re-election by a hair in the first round in Pas-de-Calais

She criss-crossed her constituency of Pas-de-Calais, organizing meetings and press conferences there.

Marine Le Pen, who has still not said whether she would take over the presidency of the National Rally, did not want to leave anything to chance.

Rightly so: the member for the 11th constituency won 54.8% of the vote on the evening of this first round.

However, it does less than its 63% in the presidential election in the constituency, and does not meet the 25% of registered voters who would have allowed it to claim victory this evening.

Eight candidates presented themselves to her, including the indefatigable Marine Tondelier (EELV-Nupes), who obtained 22.3% of the vote, and will face Marine Le Pen in a week.

Throughout the campaign, which she started late, the presidential finalist hammered home her message: for purchasing power, for pensions and against the policies of Emmanuel Macron or Jean-Luc Mélenchon, he had to provide the means for a very large parliamentary group.

Another, more collective bet, for which the RN had invested 569 candidates for the first round.
