Nord-Allianz is cycling for refugees: Eching is the destination

Eching's Bürgerplatz is the destination of the NordAllianz cycle tour on July 1st.

This year's NordAllianz cycle tour as part of city cycling has the motto "Cycling together for refugees".
All eight municipalities meet on July 1st on the Bürgerplatz in Eching.

After a two-year Corona break, which was bridged with a relay ride, the NordAllianz mayors are happy this year to welcome the cycling groups from the municipalities all to one destination again: on the Echinger Bürgerplatz in front of the new town hall .
There the "finish" is planned for 5 p.m., all non-cyclists are also welcome.
In addition to free cold refreshments, there is also a stand from the local ice cream parlour.
"Sir Flint's Jazz Trio" will provide music.
A special attraction is the lost-and-found bicycle auction by the NordAllianz mayors, where anyone who wants to bid can, with a bit of luck, bid on one of 20 bicycles.
Bids are possible from five euros.
In addition, the municipality of Eching is donating a new city bike worth around 800 euros, which will be raffled off at an American auction.
The entire proceeds will benefit the Asylum Eching helpers’ group for the support of (mainly Ukrainian) refugees on site.
Representatives of the helper group will also be on site with an information stand and a donation box.

The local ADFC group Eching/Neufahrn will also be present with a repair stand and will carry out minor repairs to the bikes that have been auctioned off and to the bikes of fellow cyclists free of charge.
In addition, the town halls of Hallbergmoos (each five euros to the sports fund), Unterschleißheim (each five euros to the Unterschleißheimer Tisch) and Eching (each 10 euros to the Asylum Helpers' Group) donate to a local non-profit organization for each fellow cyclist.
Anyone who would like to make an additional donation can do so at the Asylhilfe donation stand in Eching.

Neufahrn:
Meeting point is at 3.45 p.m. at the town hall (about four kilometers)
Hallbergmoos:
Meeting point is at 3 p.m. also at the town hall (about twelve kilometers).
