"Safe, supportive spaces like Project Fearless give girls the power to express themselves, build each other up, build resilience and meet new challenges," Meghan said in a statement released by the nonprofit.

In a statement to People, Mérida Miller, the initiator of Project Fearless, spoke of the great impact the Duchess' visit is having on the young participants.
She is an "accessible role model who makes a difference and raises her voice," says Miller.
Climate science, skateboarding and kickboxing are other courses offered by the project, which has already worked with almost 750 children from the region.
Husband Prince Harry also appreciates Meghan as his personal ambassador.
"I always wanted to share those incredible moments with someone special and having Meg by my side means everything to me," he told the magazine.
At the last games in 2018, she would have just announced her pregnancy with Archie (3).
"I'm an incredibly lucky man to have her as my wife," Harry said.
