Emmanuel Macron is no longer except for one inconsistency!
In his scenario for the next five years, the Head of State announces a vast plan to support purchasing power which amounts to several tens of billions of euros and, opposite, draws a red line: no increases taxes or additional public debt.
On the one hand the policy of "whatever it costs" at high speed, on the other the promise of serious budgeting.
A contradictory injunction for some, the great illusion of "at the same time" for others...
One thing is certain, the passageway is narrow.
Only sustainably sustained growth and the implementation of savings can resolve, more or less, this budgetary equation.
But what do we see?
Business prospects that are darkening with the war in Ukraine, shortages, and galloping inflation.
Nothing good on that front.
As for the pension reform, supposed to allow some savings and above all to increase work throughout life…
