Fire brigade in action: fire in the basement of a butcher's shop

The fire brigades from Eichenau, Puchheim-Bahnhof and Ort were on Sunday afternoon in Parkstrasse, as was the rescue service.

Alarm on Sunday afternoon: A fire broke out in the basement of a butcher's shop on Parkstrasse in Eichenau.

Nobody was injured, but things weren't entirely smooth.

- Now it was literally about the sausage.

The fire brigade was alerted at around 2:30 p.m. because a fire had broken out in a butcher’s building on Parkstrasse in Eichenau.

The forces from Eichenau and Puchheim (station and town) and the rescue service moved out.

Thick plumes of smoke could already be seen from the basement where the fire broke out.

The fire brigade was able to extinguish the fire, nobody was injured.

However, according to Eichenau's commander Maximilian Grain, the power needed to cool the meat and sausage products failed.

To what extent the owners solved the problem, especially on Sunday, Grain could not say.

There was a lot to do that day: while the Eichenauer were on duty on Parkstraße, the next alarm went off.

A garbage container at the Budriohalle burned.

However, nothing major happened here, according to Grain.
