Lindner wedding: Scholz thinks that you shouldn't talk them into it
The citizens also addressed the wedding of Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner (FDP) on Sylt.
Critics noted that the wedding was out of place.
"The most beautiful thing in life is love," said Scholz.
"And when two people want to find each other and get married, they shouldn't be talked into too much.
And I believe that also applies in these times," added the Chancellor.

Only once did Scholz not want to comment at all: A woman who stated that she was an employee of the university clinic, which is managed by Scholz's brother, complained that he had increased the parking fees for the employees.
"Well, thank you very much for the question," said Scholz.
"Now I have to disappoint you a bit." One of the things he agreed with his two brothers is that they "not mutually comment on what the others do professionally".
