Faced with the “
rebound
” of Covid-19, the minister defended the “
very targeted but necessary measures
” of this first text of the legislature: the continuation of the collection of health data on tests and vaccination, and a possible pass border health.
The government “
joins the timetable
” voted by the deputies in committee for these two measures, authorized until the end of January 2023, rather than the end of March as planned in the original version, he indicated.
This text ratifies the end of the main restrictions from July 31, acknowledging “
the extinction of the legal regime of the state of health emergency
” and of the “
health and vaccination pass in the daily life of the French
”, underlined François Braun.

The incidence rate has now reached 1,342 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, which represents an increase of 22.8% over the last seven days.

The figures for hospitalization in critical care - 1,041 patients on July 8 -, half of which in intensive care are "
however well below the peak of 3,500 patients in intensive care reached last January
".
The minister was booed by elected RNs when he indicated that the reintegration of unvaccinated caregivers "
cannot be on the agenda
", given the epidemic situation.
