Night rainbow? Scientists are facing a phenomenon never seen before

In March 2015, some strange lights were captured in the New Zealand sky by amateur astronomers, who thought it was a strange aurora borealis.

After years of studies, scientists affirm that it is a phenomenon never seen before, which they call the nocturnal rainbow, and for which much of its origin cannot yet be explained.
