From a family interested in science and culture, Noha Bashour grew up and studied at Al-Laik School in Damascus, continuing her studies to obtain a degree in dentistry from Damascus University in 1991. She also learned the basics of playing the violin over a period of 6 years at the Arab Institute of Music in Damascus, known as the Salhi Al-Wadi Music Institute.

Her passion for music and singing began since childhood, especially for Mrs. Fairouz, and she was influenced by her style and artistic performance, which had the greatest impact on her artistic interests later. After settling in her hometown in Safita, she continued her working life as a dentist in her private clinic and as an employee in the health zone, but she did not forget her artistic dream to establish Coral Helm. The choir celebrated many of the giants of art through its concerts, which it held in Tartous, a number of governorates, and the Opera House in Damascus. One of her songs in a new choral style.

Bashour founded the “Burj wa Bahr” festival, which hosted the most important Syrian musicians to present their experiences outside the capital, Damascus, and was able to combine the concepts of elite and popular.

In 2018, Bashour was honored by the Ministry of Culture for her contribution to revitalizing cultural life in Tartous Governorate, in addition to being honored in the festivals to which she was invited and participated.

Its cultural activity was not limited to establishing the choir and bringing it to a distinguished and distinguished artistic position. It founded the Safita Film Club Association at the beginning of 2013, which lasted for two years by presenting periodic cinematic shows on a weekly basis in the Cultural Center in Safita, to later focus on public performances of the most important and latest Syrian films, and hosted the most important Syrian artists. The likes of Duraid Lahham, Basil Al-Khatib, Slav Fawakherji, Dima Kandalaft and others.

Bashour did not prevent her marriage and the birth of her two daughters, Layal and Diala, from developing her artistic project, which she founded 15 years ago, with sincere effort at work and will with perseverance to achieve excellence in art despite the great lack of capabilities and difficult financial and social conditions that accompanied its beginnings.
