A case of oil-spraying torture occurred in the Western District.
At about 1 am today (12th), the signboard and iron gate of a small supermarket connected to the basement of Phase II of Junyi Building, No. 343 Des Voeux Road West, were found to be covered with red oil and gold oil.
Police classified the case as "criminal damage" and seized a plastic cup lid covered in paint for investigation.
The owner, Mr. Yu, who lives nearby, arrived after the incident to assist the police in their investigation.
He pointed out that his friend noticed from the Facebook group that some netizens had uploaded photos of his shop being drenched in oil, so he immediately informed him about it.
Yu pointed out that the store opened only the second day, and it was a branch with a different name from the partner. There was no debt, and no one "received the land". It was inexplicable that it was destroyed.
