25 victims, tens of thousands of shekels:
An undercover investigation by Israeli police fraud investigators revealed a sophisticated debit card sting, in the cumulative amount of tens of thousands of shekels, by four Beer Sheva residents aged 22-17.
Together with special district units, the fraud unit conducted an undercover investigation for about two months on suspicion of sting, in which 25 people from the south and center fell victim, at whose expense the suspects went on a shopping trip and bought property worth tens of thousands of shekels.
Fraud investigators have revealed the pattern of the suspects' actions: According to the suspect, the suspects used to locate invoices and receipts, mainly from businesses that make food deliveries, and from there took the customer details and phone numbers.

Apparently, the suspects contacted the victims, impersonated representatives of the business or credit card company, and managed to fraudulently obtain their card details.
The suspicion also arose that the suspects managed to gain access to a woman's private bank account, from which they took about NIS 60,000 into their pockets.
Investigators tracked down the identities of the four suspects and arrested them during the last day (Monday) of the investigation, on suspicion of receiving anything by fraud and debit card offenses.
A search of the home of one of the suspects turned up a stun grenade, and receipts containing the details of the victims were seized in the vehicle.
The suspects were brought before the Magistrate's Court in Be'er Sheva by three of the suspects, requesting an extension of their detention.
