So far, the marketed quantities of wheat seed for the branch of the General Organization for Seed Multiplication in Daraa have reached 10549 tons.
Director of the Seed Multiplication Branch, Engineer Samer Al-Zamil, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the marketing procedures are progressing at a good pace amid simplified procedures in terms of speedy receipt from contracted farmers and payment of the encouraging price by the state, indicating that the branch has a sufficient financial mass to disburse farmers’ dues through the branch of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in sow.
He added that, in parallel with receiving wheat, the branch is sifting and sterilizing the marketed wheat to protect it from insect infestations and storing it to ensure that the seeds are secured for farmers with the required specifications.
