As part of the Childhood Joy demonstration held in the Syrian governorates during the days of Eid al-Adha, and in cooperation with the Directorate of Theaters and Music in the Ministry of Culture, Elissar Troupe presented a play entitled “The Forest of Love” on the stage of Dar al-Assad for Culture in Lattakia.
The theatrical performance, which was written and directed by Nidal Adeera, dealt with stories and meaningful stories in a simple and endearing style, and a dialogue between forest animals aimed at promoting the values of true friendship and instilling them in the child's mind and highlighting cunning and deception and revealing masks.
Assistant Director Bassam Saeed explained to SANA reporter that the aim of the play is to entertain and provide some advice and lessons in a fun and purposeful manner that addresses the child's mind, in addition to the educational values presented by the show. The show included some entertaining songs.
He explained that the decoration of the play was simple, with a focus on lighting, dress and movement on the stage to attract the child's attention. This type of plays was created for the mobile theater so that it could be shown in several places.
And the actor Yazan Amr played the character of the cunning wolf who tries to deceive and deceive the jungle animals, including rabbits, in order to shed light on the evil deeds and deeds that bind our world.
In turn, the actor Haider Taha embodied the role of Club in the play, the friend of rabbits, a friend who does not let his friend down, stressing that the goal of any theatrical work presented to the child is to draw laughter, joy and joy on the faces of children.
Asmaa Jamal pointed out the importance of movement on the stage and the brightly colored dress of forest animals that attracts the child's attention and draws him to watch the play.
