An earthquake of magnitude 5.7 was recorded this Thursday near Guayaquil, in Ecuador, according to a report from the United States Geological Survey (USGS, for its acronym in English).
The earthquake occurred 10 kilometers from the Ecuadorian city Yaguachi Nuevo and the depth of the telluric movement, according to the USGS, is 80 kilometers.
