Assistant to the Russian President Maxim Oreshkin revealed that the authorities of his country are planning to adjust the system of foreign economic trade in such a way that the need for payments through the SWIFT system between banks disappears.
"The SWIFT issue is resolved quite simply and we will act in such a way that the need for it disappears," Oreshkin was quoted as saying by RIA Novosti news agency, noting that "creating comfortable conditions for carrying out foreign economic activity is the main task of the Russian authorities at the moment."
He pointed out that "a number of innovative ideas are being discussed with Chinese partners, which can fundamentally change the situation."
Oreshkin stressed that Russia will not be closed economically, but on the contrary, it will openly cooperate with any country from abroad, but to achieve this there must be reliable financial institutions.
