The Russian security forces announced that they had found a den containing weapons intended to carry out acts of sabotage in the Gulu Prestansky Forest in the liberated Kherson province.
"A Ukrainian who was part of the armed formations was arrested, and a cache of individual weapons and ammunition was prepared in a forest in the Gulu-Prestansky region," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the local authorities as saying in a statement today.
"The investigation indicates that the weapons found were intended to be used in sabotage acts against Russian forces and civilians," the statement added.
On the second of last March, the Russian forces completely liberated the regional center of the city of Kherson.
