La mayoría de miembros del G-20 condenan a Rusia por el revés a la economía global causado por la guerra en Ucrania. Muchos estados del G-20, el grupo de los mayores países industrializados y emergentes, “están de acuerdo en que la guerra de Rusia contra Ucrania ha ralentizado la recuperación de la economía global que, en consecuencia, se enfrenta a un fuerte revés”, tras una reunión del grupo en Bali (Indonesia). Así reza el resumen final del encuentro entre los ministros de Finanzas y gobernadores de bancos centrales del G-20, celebrado el viernes y sábado en la isla de Bali, según un comunicado divulgado la madrugada del domingo por Indonesia, el país anfitrión como presidente este año del grupo.
Las tropas ucranias repelen los intentos de las fuerzas rusas de avanzar en Donetsk durante las últimas horas. Las tropas rusas siguen con sus intentos de lograr el control total de la región oriental de Donetsk, sin dejar de realizar puntuales ataques en otras zonas del país, mientras los ucranios tratan de repeler la ofensiva. El Ejército ucranio ha rechazado las acciones de asalto del enemigo cerca de Ivano-Darivka, así como el intento de Rusia de avanzar hacia Verkhniokamianka en dirección a Sloviansk, un enclave estratégico en Donetsk, según ha dicho este domingo el Estado Mayor General de las Fuerzas Armadas de Ucrania en su página de Facebook.

Los Veintisiete discutirán este lunes en Bruselas el veto al oro ruso
Los ministros de Exteriores de la Unión Europea tendrán este lunes ocasión de discutir el último paquete de sanciones propuesto por Bruselas contra Rusia con el objetivo de cubrir lagunas detectadas en las rondas anteriores, incluir nuevos nombres en la lista de sancionados y vetar las importaciones de oro ruso. El cierre del mercado comunitario al oro procedente de Rusia sigue la estela ya iniciada por otros socios en el seno del G-7 y pretende mantener la presión sobre el régimen de Vladímir Putin tras la invasión de Ucrania, aunque el séptimo paquete sobre la mesa no aborda más medidas en el plano energético que aún no están suficientemente “maduras”.
Las sanciones que discutirán los ministros no plantean reservas relevantes entre las delegaciones, según distintas fuentes europeas, por lo que se espera su rápida adopción a lo largo de la semana, pero más tarde del encuentro de ministros, probablemente el miércoles en un trámite a nivel de embajadores.
Los ministros dedicarán igualmente parte de la agenda a discutir de manera más amplia la situación en Ucrania y cómo reforzar la respuesta coordinada desde la comunidad internacional, con la implicación de otros socios fuera de la UE, pero también se cuenta con que cierren el acuerdo político para desbloquear un nuevo tramo de 500 millones de euros para la compra de armas para Ucrania.
