The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the continuous incursions by Israeli settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque, the latest of which was today, is a dangerous escalation of the situation and a disregard for the explicit and clear international demands for the need to preserve the existing historical and legal situation in the mosque and to stop all unilateral measures aimed at changing it.
In a statement today, quoted by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its condemnation of 340 settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque today and carrying out provocative tours in its courtyards, under heavy guard of the Israeli occupation forces.
Today, hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate and Bab Al-Rahma area, east of the mosque, and carried out provocative tours in it, under heavy security from the occupation forces.
