The Chairman of the Constitutional Legislation Committee of the Russian Federation Council Andrei Klishas stressed that the sanctions imposed by the United States and Western countries on Russia due to the military operation in Ukraine will soon return to them.
This came in response to the call of the European Union Commissioner for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell to the European peoples to be strategically patient until the sanctions against Russia prove their effectiveness in light of the increasing grumbling of Europeans about their effects on them, according to the Russian Novosti agency.
“We advise Borrell to wait for the impact of sanctions on Russia, and we will only wait for winter,” Klishas said on his Telegram channel, indicating that Russia will wait for winter to see the effects of these sanctions on those who imposed them.
