Iraqi forces arrested two terrorists and thwarted an attempt to detonate a motorcycle in Anbar and Nineveh provinces, west and north of the country.
And the Iraqi News Agency, INA, quoted the Military Intelligence Directorate as saying in a statement: “With qualitative and proactive operations characterized by accurate intelligence information, and in cooperation with a force affiliated with the Land Forces Command, two terrorists were arrested in ambushes at the entrance to Nineveh Governorate.”
In a related context, a force of the army managed, with a proactive operation, to thwart an attempt to detonate a motorcycle in the village of Karagul, north of Al-Rutba, after raiding the hideout inside.
The day before yesterday, Iraqi forces arrested 26 terrorists in the provinces of Anbar, Kirkuk and Salah al-Din.
