The International Meteorological Organization has warned that heat waves caused by climate change will become more common and more intense in the coming decades and will continue until at least 2060.
“The negative climate trend will continue until at least 2060,” the German news agency quoted WHO Secretary-General Petri Taalas as saying, noting that these heat waves have become more frequent due to climate change due to carbon dioxide emissions.
