A drunk driving accident occurred in Hung Hom.
At about 3 a.m., it was reported that a Pingzhi RV was driving along On Wan Road, Hung Hom. When it was approaching the Hung Hom Railway Station, it suddenly lost control and hit Shek Pok on the right. The front of the car and the windshield were damaged, and the air bag inside the car was ejected.
Ambulancemen arrived to check on the two, but luckily none of them were seriously injured.
It is understood that both the male driver and the female passenger in the car were intoxicated, and the female passenger had a verbal conflict with the police officers and reporters present at the scene.
The police then performed a breathalyzer test on the male driver. According to the scene, someone recorded a reading of 137 degrees and was immediately arrested by the police on suspicion of "drinking and driving".
Police are investigating the incident.
