Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu confirmed that the Russian Armed Forces continue to protect civilian facilities and infrastructure in the liberated areas of Donbass from air strikes by Kyiv regime forces.

The website of the Russian Defense Ministry quoted Shoigu as saying during a meeting in Moscow today: “The Russian army is actively participating in the work to maintain peaceful life in the liberated regions and towns of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and Ukraine, and military builders in the liberated territories are rapidly repairing civilian infrastructure. Vital facilities are being constructed and rebuilt in a pre-planned manner.”

During the meeting, Shoigu pointed out that "in the past month alone, 34 Ukrainian planes were shot down, 39 Tochka missiles were intercepted and 226 shells from multiple launchers, including foreign-made systems, which saved thousands of civilians from perishing," explaining that "the strikes launched by the Russian forces On military installations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 33 US-made M777 howitzers, five launchers of the Harpoon anti-ship missile system, six launcher systems and more than two hundred Hymars multiple missiles.

Shoigu indicated that over the past two weeks, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 396 Javelin and Enlo anti-tank missile systems and 125 portable Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems.

The Russian Defense Ministry decided to hold the first international anti-fascist conference, where about 50 foreign defense ministries expressed their desire to visit the International Military-Technical Forum (ARMY), while about 1,500 institutions and organizations, including foreign ones, plan to submit samples of their products.
