Advance sales for Rock im Park 2023 will start soon. The festival prices are not well received by everyone - there was a passionate discussion about Jodel.

Nuremberg – After a two-year Corona break, "Rock im Park" finally took place again at the beginning of June 2022.

The festival attracted audiences with Volbeat, Green Day and Muse as headliners.

Planning for 2023 is already in full swing.

"On Wednesday at 10 a.m. the advance sale for 2023 starts with limited early bird festival tickets including camping for €268 each," the organizers wrote on Monday (22 August).

Exorbitant prices at Rock im Park?

Jodel users discuss: "Real impertinence"

“The Rock-im-Park ticket for next year costs €268 in the early bird phase.

Before Corona it was €199, before that €169 …”, one person complains about the prices in a Jodel-Post.

The hashtag #usury.

"Real cheek, especially since the organization has been getting worse and worse for years," someone replies.

"I'd really like them if they really flopped, but there are probably still enough going..."

"Then don't go there," someone simply comments.

"Other festivals are also significantly more expensive than usual for next year. I can't judge whether RiP is worth it," someone shows understanding for the price increase.

Rock im Park: 75,000 fans at the festival in Nuremberg

After three days full of big rock shows, changeable weather and around 70,000 fans, Rock im Park 2022 is over again.

The comeback - successful.

Nuremberg: yodel discussion about Rock im Park breaks out: "Hold on"

The price increase is also not that bad, as one Jodel user thinks: “Hold on a minute.

The ticket also cost 238 last year, and it's 7% inflation and higher energy prices, so that's really not a big increase but absolutely necessary to even come close to covering the costs."

And one user probably has the ultimate clue: "Swabian tip: Ned go koschded 0 €!"
