The activities of the closing ceremony of the Blouzah Festival for Culture and Arts, which will be held in the school of the village of Blouza in the countryside of Baniyas, included a poetry evening presented by poets Marwan Jalloul, Hussam Saheli and Jamil Khuzama, through poems that were mixed with the fragrance of yarn, the spirit of humanity and the virtues of the martyrs.
The poet Marwan Jalloul recited six poems of vertical metered rhymed poetry that varied between spinning, philosophy and criticism.
The poet Hussam Sahli also delivered a collection of short patriotic poems of vertical and weighted poetry entitled The Letters of Nostalgia for Jasmine, in which he talked about adhering to Damascus and its soil and pride in the national identity, and concluded with a collection of short stories from his book, a wizard that embodied the martyr and his place in memory.
The evening was concluded by the poet Jamil Khuzama with his poem Our Righteous Martyrs from vertical rhymed verse. He spoke through her ancient words in remembrance of the martyrs about martyrdom for the sake of God and the homeland and the status of the martyrs and their role in defending the homeland.
The poets stressed the importance of the festival as it enhances the bonds of love and cooperation between people and because it is a pillar in supporting culture and encouraging creativity.
During the festival, some retired teachers and professionals at the village level were honored in appreciation of their efforts on the educational and professional level.
The festival concluded with lyrical links presented by the artist Ali Abu Ghabra, playing solo on the oud and the keyboard.
