The Ministry of Health has announced the installation of a number of quality devices in various health facilities this month, with the aim of improving the quality of medical services provided to patients, alleviating their heavy financial burdens, and in the context of developing the health reality.
The ministry indicated, in a statement that SANA received a copy of it, that it had placed an MRI device in the Martyr Zaid Al-Shati Hospital in the Suwayda Governorate, in service, after completing the maintenance process for a technical malfunction in it that led to its stopping during the last period, while it placed the renal lithotripsy device in service at the National Hospital in Al-Hasakah after a procedure necessary maintenance for it.
The ministry indicated that it has provided various health facilities in Homs governorate with a number of devices, including 4 immediate x-ray machines for dental chairs for the benefit of the Abbasiya and Al-Insha’a health centers, the Quttineh clinics and the dental clinic in Karm Al-Lawz Hospital, in addition to modern Echo devices in Karm Al-Lawz, Al-Zahra’, Al-Walid, and Tal Kalakh hospitals.
The Ministry indicated that it has developed a homogeneous optical tomography device for the eye for the Surgical Eye Hospital in Homs, which is considered one of the latest qualitative devices that provide high-resolution images of different layers of the retina, allowing the doctor to perform an advanced examination of the eye and helps in early detection and treatment of a wide range of eye conditions and improves the Diagnostic capabilities and the possibility of following up on the effect of treatments in various ophthalmic diseases.
