On Thursday, the operator of Ukrainian nuclear power plants, Energoatom, announced that it had shut down its reactors 5 and 6 – the last two in operation in its Zaporijjia power plant, the most powerful in Europe, occupied since March by the Russian army, and the subject of great concern in the international community.
