In Israel, in areas other than Gush Dan, Jerusalem, Haifa, etc., there are very few restaurants that are especially worth going to, at the level of putting together a route for a walk around the restaurant.
"Michael Local Bistro" by chef Michael Gratopsky is absolutely one of those, even the queen of the genre.
And now she is coming to stay in Tel Aviv for a few days that will surely sell out very quickly.
The event will take place between September 11-14 at "Reviva Vasilia - the second floor" as part of a global culinary project of the "Cloudy Bay" winery that deals with the use of original raw materials.
Gratofski will offer a closed ten-course meal (including wine, soda and coffee) at a price of NIS 480 per diner.
Happily, quite a few of the restaurant's flagship dishes from Moshav Liman are there: crispy zucchini flowers with green rice and Parmesan fondue, chopped sea fish tartare with homemade olive oil crackers and herb leaves, dumplings filled with smoked potatoes and salted butter, and shredded lamb shoulder in a taco Arab and wild tzatziki.
All these, of course, alongside quite a few "Cloudy Bay" wines.

Gratofsky is considered one of the most intriguing, respected and talented chefs in the genre.
He studied at Cordon Bleu, did an internship with Gordon Ramsay, from there he went on to Raphael, Herbert Samuel and several other prominent Tel Aviv names, until about a decade ago he decided to leave Tel Aviv and establish the restaurant "Michael Bistro Komumi", which is still considered one of The best and favorite restaurants in Israel.
