The Smart Woman Association honored 18 of the top male and female students in the General Secondary Certificate in its various branches, in the hall of the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous.
The Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Tartous, Walad Jalab, indicated that such initiatives would motivate the first students to continue to excel in the next academic levels, which would motivate their fellow students to do more to achieve excellence and distinction.
In turn, the Director of Tartous Endowments Abdullah Al-Sayed stressed the importance of effective community initiatives in various fields, especially in honoring outstanding students because they are the cornerstone for the reconstruction of what was destroyed by terrorism, pointing out that science is the highest and the highest values and excellence is the fruit of the effort of students, parents and the educational family.
While the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Intelligent Women Association, Rola Amoun, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the association’s activities are productive and charitable, concerned with societal issues and were not limited to aspects related to women, considering that honoring academically outstanding students is one of the association’s first concerns to encourage them and emphasize the importance of science and educational attainment.
Outstanding students Iman Nabulsi, Maryam Issa, Batoul Shushan and Nagham Suleiman noted the importance of the initiative and its moral role by appreciating the effort and effort they made to reach this stage of success, stressing their determination to follow the path of science and excellence to be among the true builders of the nation with science and knowledge.
