Barbie doll created in honor of the first black woman to become a self-made millionaire

With the launch of a special edition Barbie doll, Mattel is paying tribute to Madam CJ Walker, who became the first self-made millionaire black woman.

CJ Walker achieved tremendous success by founding the Walker Manufacturing Co., a line of hair care and cosmetic products designed for black women.
