The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, criticized the Israeli occupation entity for blocking the mission of UN staff to monitor the human rights situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
"(Israel)'s refusal to cooperate with the UN monitors raises questions about what its authorities are trying to hide," Bachelet, a former president of Chile, said in a statement, noting that the Israeli entity's treatment of UN staff is part of a "wider and disturbing trend" to prevent The arrival of human rights teams to the Palestinian territories.
