A man who calls himself a "spiritual psychologist" has promised his followers that they will get an eye tattooed on their forehead if it goes viral.

He didn't - but that didn't stop him from getting the tattoo, which made it viral for all the wrong reasons.

Now he urges people to get the tattoo to reach "total enlightenment"

A "spiritual psychologist," as he calls himself, recently revealed his disturbing new tattoo: an eye in the center of his forehead.

He insists it will give him "instant enlightenment" after living in fear and dealing with suicidal thoughts for years.

The 23-year-old TikTok user, who goes by the username @rootcausepsychology, posted a video that has garnered about 700,000 views in which he reveals his new tattoo.

He says in the video: "As you can see, I'm officially enlightened now. The great mystics and spiritual teachers didn't tell you about this trick, but I'm going to tell you - because I want everyone to be enlightened. Get yourself a tattoo on your forehead."

He explained that he thought the new tattoo would make him look cool and act as a mood-boosting effect.

"You're probably wondering why I got a tattoo of an eye on my forehead and it's because of something I do called 'living suicidally'. I'm tired of living in fear, insecurity, anxiety, self-aware all the time... It intensified into suicidal rage. It got to the point that every day It hurts me to exist in it - so I decided I'm not there.

He added: "I live like I'm going to die, so at least I'll have some fun in life. My inner child wanted to look like the coolest f***ing man in the world. I have a third eye now."

At the end of the video he said that his next step is to take a loan of 50 thousand dollars and take a foreign guy with him on a shopping trip of 50 thousand dollars, while giving a personal lesson in spirituality.

He ended with the words: "Keep following and see how I go crazy."

The spiritual psychologist previously published a video in which he claimed that if he became viral - he would tattoo the eye on his forehead.

Even though that video only got a few hundred likes, he still got the tattoo which got him the virality he was hoping for - and not sure that given the circumstances he was hoping for.

The viewers despised him and claimed that it was a stupid decision.

"The unblinking eye is a sign of dissociation. You're not okay man, take care," wrote one in the comments and another added: "So it's actually a manic episode."

Another user wrote: "Thank you for reminding me to take the pills."

Since there is no record of him making the tattoo, there are those who doubted its credibility: "I don't understand if it's a joke or not, but is this tattoo real???", wrote one in the comments.

However, there were some who praised him: "You skipped all the steps straight to enlightenment," wrote one, and another added: "Great tattoo, but don't spend $50,000 on a stranger."
